dj newtown- He was known as the closest friend of tofubeats. He released a few albums in 2008-2011 and went on hiatus. After a sudden comeback in 2019 to celebrate his 11th anniversary, he has now started to sort out his past discography. Last year, “2005” was released officially, and He was started planning a new remix EP with Maltine Records & HIHATT. Four young remixers appear on this EP. Pasocom Music Club, Tellematic Visions, uku kasai and Kabanagu. “2005” of 2009 will be sounded again from the room of 2022 to the dance floor.

After a sudden comeback in 2019 to celebrate his 11th anniversary, he has now started to sort out his past discography. In 2009, dj newtown released the Japanese classic 2step tune “2005” on the internet label Maltine Records. After 12 years, the track is now officially released, overcoming sampling issues. This song sampled the Japanese R&B masterpiece Momoe Shimano’s “Late Show”. This reissue includes remixes for the original version in 2009 by tofubeats, okadada and 909state. Additionally, includes Hercelot’s remix for dj newtown tribute in 2011 and $OYCEE’s VIP version for outlook festival in 2015.
ハイハット合同会社として5周年の去年はYEBISU YA PROにて配信イベントなどやらせていただいたりしましたが、6周年の今年は去年と同じく振り返りイベントなんかをするわけにもいかず、ロケに出ることもちょっと難しく、なんとなく会社としての存在感を高めるためにデイリーポータルZさんのイベント、地味ハロウィンに協賛させていただくことにしました(裏で本当はこの広告掲示に合わせていろいろやっているのですが周年までに間に合わなかったです笑)。もっとも小口のプランで… たまたまですが都内に構えた新事務所がイッツコム圏内だったりとなんとなく親近感が高まった結果でもあります。地味ハロウィンが地上波でやってるなんて東京はすごいところですわ。
